2008 Castleton Residency: The Beggar's Opera

Program Details

A new, fully-staged production of The Beggar's Opera, John Gay's 18th-century theatrical landmark as adapted and arranged for chamber orchestra by Benjamin Britten. We have invited the production team from our production of The Rape of Lucretia to return to stage this comic masterpiece, with an outstanding cast of young singers and instrumentalists.
