Welcome

Thank you for visiting the homepage of The Châteauville Foundation. We look forward to having you join us in our non-virtual home in Castleton, Virginia, during our 2008-09 season.

Our private Theatre House, an intimate (130 seat), acoustically superb performance space, has played host to a wide range of events over the last decade. Although chamber music and recitals are the mainstays of our programming, we take pride in presenting established and rising stars of classical music alongside celebrated artists in the fields of jazz, world music, dance and theatre.

Please consult the Events section for details of upcoming performances, or explore the Castleton Residency pages for information about our newest and most far reaching initiative, a program for young artists and festival-in-the-making, centered on chamber opera productions under the artistic direction of Maestro Lorin Maazel.

If you are new to our programs, the FAQ section will explain how to sign-up for our mailing list (which will allow us to include you in our activities) or how to find the Theatre House in Castleton.

Your questions and comments are always welcome via our Contact page.
