JANUARY 31: Concerts CANCELLED Due to Weather

We are greatly disappointed to announce that we have had to cancel today's planned concerts in Castleton, featuring "Peter and the Wolf" and the premiere of "Aesop's Fables." The lingering effects of the snow storm and the very cold air that followed have left the roads in poor condition, particularly in the harder-hit Charlottesville area. It is not possible for the 50 members of the orchestra to travel safely to Castleton this morning in time to rehearse and perform the program. We also expect there will be bad patches of road in Castleton area throughout the day.

We plan to re-schedule this wonderful (and sold-out) program within the next 4-5 weeks, and hope to announce the new date(s)soon.

In the meantime, all remaining ticket orders for both the original 4pm performance and the tentatively re-scheduled 7pm performance will now be refunded. We will give all of the original ticket holders for this weekend the first opportunity to purchase seats for the re-scheduled performances once announced.
